Many Sikhs in UK might remember Radio Kohinoor in Leicestor called KADAH PARSHAAD as poisonous in one of it’s prgrame and we sent protest notes. Dr. CS Johal regretted and sent a letter to me as follows;

Dear Ajmer Singh Ji,
Waheguru Ji Ka Khlasa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.
Thank you for your email. I would like to clarify that our radio station’s prime objective is to support the Community and will never denigrate any aspect of Sikhism. The radio station broadcasts the Holy Nitnem and Asa Di War daily from 3am for the benefit of those members of our Community who are unable to recite the bani for whatever reason and also broadcasts Rehras Sahib and Live Katha from the largest Gurdwara Sahib in Leicester every evening. We have been broadcasting this service since January 2009 without financial gain as seva to the community. We do not allow any deliberate comments against Sikhism or for that matter against any religion. The comment to which you are referring, I think, maybe when on a health show a guest inadvertently mentioned the comment. That person has been severely reprimanded and has apologised on air several times after making the comment and explained that his intention was not to be insulting but was misunderstood.As a radio station we take great care with live programming and do reprimand any person who whether deliberately or inadvertently says anything that is harmful to the community.Kind regards
Dr C S Johal
