It’s finally proved that the nation of Gandhi which preaches non-violence to world is in fact killer of non-violence. The peaceful voice is crushed by use of force as Bhai Gurbax Singh who is sitting on ‘FAST UNTO DEATH’ for the last 22 days was taken away forcefully. His demand was very genuine. He demanded release of all those Sikh prisoners who are state victims of terror and languished in indian jails for the last 20 years or more. They have even completed their awarded punishment in jails but not being released as India is a big racist nation. Since operation Bluestar in 1984 at Golden Temple, Amritsar, the Indian govt. has one motto only to keep Indian Sikhs suppressed which they protest.
Hundreds of Sikhs youths have been killed in fake encounters, arrested and punished without any fault of them. Many went underground and took political asylum in democratic nations but the wheels of tyranny still moves on Sikhs and other minorities in India.
The current news reveals how Bhai Gurbax Singh was removed in mid-night;
We have a first-hand report that around midnight (India time) approximately 60 plain clothes policemen, wearing kesri dastaar’s and one of them even carrying a nishan sahib, entered Bhai Gurbaksh Singh’s tent outside Amb Sahib Gurdwara, where he was resting for the night. They were heavily intoxicated with alcohol and had even been to the Gurdwara building itself beforehand.
There were about 7 Singh standing guard at the tent and one of the Singhs present identified one of the police officers as the DCP of Chandigarh. Our SOPW volunteer was also at Bhai Gurbaksh Singh’s bedside as Bhai Sahib had requested this, and he tells us that the Police first arrested the Singh that ID’d them and then forcefully removed Bhai Gurbaksh Singh – 2 police officers grabbed his feet and 2 grabbed his arms. Witnesses say he was thrown into a waiting ambulance ‘like a sack of potatoes’ and that there were another 300+ officers outside. All the Singh that were present put up a fierce struggle but were inevitably outnumbered.
We can confirm that Bhai Sahib has been taken to Phase 6 Civil Hospital in Chandigarh and that as soon as Bhai Sahib was so disgracefully removed.
Bibi Manjit Kaur (from Bhai Fauja Singh Trust) took his place and has resumed the hunger strike herself. Four other Sikh youths have also sat on hunger strike at same place to continue to achieve mission of Bhai Gurbax Singh and continue their demand to release Sikh prisoners from Indian jails who have completed their jail terms.
Sangat are gathering at Amb Sahib Gurdwara to plan the way forward.
