Are we Indians fools?
Sonia Gandhi, President UPA filed her nomination form from Raebarely, UP.
She declared her total property valued as Rs. 2,81,50,387.
There may be hundreds or thousands of women may be having this much valued property or cash in their accounts in India so one should not have any objection but ……..
Someone is lying, either the records which shows her sixth richest lady in world.
Whether sixth richest lady have this little valued asset only? Either those magazines lie who publish these records and even called Sonia richest then Queen of England but declaration form is an authenticated statement filled by candidate so i wonder who is lying?
If no body is lying than i think we are certainly born fools.

The World’s Nine Most Powerful Women 2013

This year there are nine women on FORBES’ list of The World’s Most Powerful People, representing 12% of the ranking — in stark contrast to being 50% of the world’s population. Both 2011 and 2012 featured six women leaders. The year previous had five and the inaugural list from 2009 included only 3 — or just 4.4%. Recently elected Park Geun-hye of South Korea joins the other heads of state German Chancellor Angela Merkel (No.5), Brazil’s Dilma Rousseff (No. 20) and de facto head of India Sonia Gandhi (No. 21). Two of the world’s most important NGO’s are run by women: Christine Lagarde (No. 35) leads the IMF and Margaret Chan (No. 59) steers the World Health Organization.
A popular US news website, the Huffington Post, has regretted the “confusion” caused by the inclusion of the name of Congress president Sonia Gandhi in which it listed the Congress president’s wealth in a rich leaders global list.
Sonia Gandhi’s name was deleted from the list of the wealthiest people in the world after it caused much hue and cry, with the Congress Party in India leading the outcry, saying the assets had no bearing on reality.
The removal of the name occurred shortly after the Congress derided the website for the “absurd and ridiculous” item.
“Our editors have been unable to verify the amount, removed the link, and regret any confusion,” the Huffington Post said, four days after it listed Sonia Gandhi as the 12th richest world leader putting her asset to USD 2 billion.
While putting Gandhi’s wealth at USD 2 billion, Huffington Post had not given details of how it arrived at such a figure.
My one friend rightly commented on her declaration as ……..
Did you ever hear a thief telling exactly how much money is stolen by him / her . Never , a real family thief can’t be so dumb to tell the whole truth. In this reguard if some one is not smart enough to hide the stolen money by him / herself , it is not a single problem . The thief can hire smart people with the same stolen money to let fix the job , no big deal .
